Sarah M. "Margie" Lowery

Sarah M. “Margie” Lowery, 92, entered into rest on Sunday, July 16, 2023.

Margie was born on April 30, 1931, in Warthen, Georgia to the late Sammy and Bertice Story. She loved to dance and at one point in time, was a dance instructor, which she loved. In her free time, she enjoyed camping and playing cards. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Jerry C. Lowery; children, Debby Robinson (Ted), Cheryl McCullough, Randy Manning (Cheryl), Joey Selby (Debbie), Donna L. Gooden (David), Lisa L. Shelton, Susan Barlow (Joe), and Kevin Lowery (Susan); siblings, Maria Kent, Joan Porter, and Terry Story (Pat); along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, July 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Margie will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
