Sarah Nell Varnadore

 Sarah Nell Varnadore, 85, entered into rest on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

Sarah was born on September 29, 1937, in Baxley, Georgia. She was devout in the Baptist faith. She worked for the Houston County Board of Education as a food nutritionist for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed working in her garden, fishing, and cooking for her family.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Magdalene Murphy; and her loving husband Stevie Carlton Varnadore.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Rhonda Parrish (Dan) of Kathleen, GA., and Keith Varnadore (Susan) of Lizella; and her grandchildren, Carla Lindstrom, Robert Parrish, Christopher Varnadore, Ashley Imel, Chad Wellbourn, Tara Fowler, and Kasey Young; Many great-grandchildren; siblings, Latrelle Maxwell of Waycross, GA. And Milton Murphy of Bonaire, GA.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:30a.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, in Macon, GA.
