Scott Russell Jenkins

April 27, 1961 — May 29, 2002

Second born, Second to none, Scott leaves this world, for a better one. May he find peace. Scott Russell Jenkins, 41, passed away in Warner Robins, Georgia on May 29, 2002 due to complications of diabetes.

He was born with a heart of gold to Glen and Cherie on April 27, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He loved the outdoors and laughing with his friends and family. He was a man of many talents. He was baptized into the LDS church and attended both East and Olympus High Schools. He also attended Middle Georgia Tech. He enjoyed culinary arts, which led him to his career as a professional in the restaurant industry working at Oakley's and Longhorn.

Scott was engaged to be married to Vanessa Green, Warner Robins, Georgia. His 3 children, Holly, Cody, and Misty and their mother, Kris will always hold a place in their hearts for him. He leaves behind a very supportive and loving family, his mother, Cherie McCormack, Warner Robins, Georgia, three sisters, Diana Jackman (John), Laura Haney (Keith), and Sandra Jenkins (Scott), and their children, Grandma, Marjorie Harvey, Grandpa and Grandma, Russell and Ruth Jenkins who treated him like a son, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. We all love Scott very much and will treasure our memories.

Friends and family have gathered for a memorial in Utah. He will now be free to go with his dad, Glen Russell Jenkins. Scott's ashes will be scattered over the beautiful Utah Mountains.
