Sfc William P. Mcentee

William P. McEntee, 86, entered into rest on May 16, 2008.

Mr. McEntee was born on May 15, 1922 in New Orleans, Louisiana. With pride and honor he served his country, and retired from the United States Army, earning several commendations, including the Vietnam Service Medal and the Bronze Star, as well as serving in World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Conflict. He was a Mason with the Tyrion Lodge. His parents, James and Jenny Marie McEntee, preceded him in death.

His memory will be forever treasured by his wife, Nancy Ann McEntee, Bonaire; children, Diane Dufour, Ponchatoula, Louisiana, James McEntee, Wicksburg, Alabama, Billy McEntee, Manchester, Tennessee, James McInnis, Augusta, Nancy French (Allen), Alpharetta, Charlie McEntee, Warner Robins, and Sandra Ennis (Andy), Chicago, Illinois; sister, Elaine Dufour; brother, Frank McEntee; grandchildren, Shawn, Danielle, Patrick, Shannon, Amy, John, Christopher, Will, Mathew, Andrea, Sophie, Jessi, and Ashley.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum with full military honors. Memorials may be given to the Church Home for the Aged, 2470 U.S. Highway 41 South, Perry, Georgia 31069.
