Early on the morning of Tuesday, December 28, 2021, Sharon Arnold Culverhouse joined her beloved husband of 55 years, John D. Culverhouse in Heaven. She was 75 years old.
A native of the Middle Georgia area, Sharon was born in Macon, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Kathleen Alford Arnold. A stay-at-home mother, Sharon loved her family unconditionally and was a vital support to her husband. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Sharon was a skilled decorator, particularly when making wreaths for Christmas. She also loved going to the beauty salon, listening to church programs on her tablet, and FaceTiming with her friends. Sharon had a green thumb and enjoyed growing sunflowers, lilies, and irises, which were some of her favorites.
In addition to her husband and parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her grandson, Justin Culverhouse; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Brady Wyatt and Eula Belle Culverhouse.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Jonathan Culverhouse (Nicole) and Rodney Culverhouse (Wendy); grandchildren, London Mingo (Michael) and Jordan, Abigail, Ellie, Hunter, and Miraya Culverhouse; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Gabriel, Penelope, and Quinn; sister-in-law, Patsy Cone; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
The graveside service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, December 31, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Park Cemetery with Reverend Jerry Walls and Reverend Randall Nash officiating. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
