Sharon Chandler, 75, entered into rest on Sunday, January 21, 2024.
Sharon was born on September 22, 1948, in Mobile, Alabama. She was known as a party planner, reunion MC, she was a very talented artist. She was one of the original 13 artists who opened Southern Heartland Art Gallery in Covington, GA. She loved golfing, bowling, going on cruises and playing bridge with all her closest friends.
Her parents, George W. Broadway and Brinson N. Broadway, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Conny Chandler, and two daughters Leslie Hamrick (John) and Dana McGlamery (Kyle). She had three grandchildren, Sydney Hamrick, Nash Hamrick, and Jacob McGlamery. She has two brothers, George Malcom Broadway and Freddie Broadway. She also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins from an extremely large family.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Sharon E. Chandler will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
