Sharon Ann Craig, 66, entered into rest on Friday, August 16, 2024.

Sharon was born on October 10, 1957, in Waterford Township, Michigan to the late Eugene and Judy McCarrick. After graduating high school, she enlisted in the United States Air Force as a recreation specialist in 1976. During her service, the family traveled to 11 different states, but her favorite location was Mexico Beach, Florida where they settled for a time. Here, she hosted “Granny Camp” every summer, which was a favorite for all her grandchildren. Sharon loved everything about the beach, especially the preservation of natural beauty and the wildlife that came along with it. She eventually retired to Perry, Georgia to be nearer to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sharon had a zest for life that was unmatched. She was very artistic and had many interesting hobbies, with her most recent being Diamond Dots. Her warm spirit and sweet countenance will be deeply missed by those who held her most dear.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Rick McCarrick.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 47 years, Steven Craig; children, Tasha Folds (Tracey) and Joshua Craig (Courtney); grandchildren, Trace, Kira, Noelle, Alexis, and Michela; great-grandchildren, Isaiah and two more on the way, along with brother, Charles McCarrick (Sandy).

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
