Sharon L. Robinson

Sharon L. Gaines Robinson, 72, passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday, September 21, 2018.

Mrs. Robinson was born on June 6, 1946, in Springfield, Illinois to the late Leo William and Marjorie Marr Gaines. She had lived in Houston County for the past forty-six years and attended Harvest Church. She worked as a seamstress at Macon Garment for many years and enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. In recent years, she devoted her time to volunteering at Centerville Elementary School and Harvest Church. Her family was the center of her world, and spending time with them brought her the greatest joy. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Robinson and her son, Brian K. Robinson.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving daughter, Dawn Brumfield (Tony) of Centerville; her grandchildren, Carl Brumfield (Stephanie), Michael Elliott (Jessica), Heather DeLee, Brianna Brumfield, and David Robinson; her great grandson, Mason Elliott; her adopted daughter, Faye Beazley (John) of Warner Robins; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

The graveside memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family requests that attendees wear casual clothing to the service.
