Sheila McDaniel passed away in a car accident on Sunday, December 25, 2016. She was 58 years old.
Sheila was born in Macon, Georgia on April 8, 1958. Of the Baptist faith, she was a caring and selfless woman who used her compassion for others in being a nurse. Sheila nursed in a variety of settings including home health and as a nursing instructor. During her years of nursing, she volunteered for multiple organizations including: Red Cross, Life South, and was a member of the Middle Georgia CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) and Central Georgia Medical Rescue Corps.
Her adventurous spirit and passion for traveling allowed her to enjoy snorkeling and to go on several cruises. For her 50th birthday, she went on the ultimate trip to Australia. Sheila will be remembered by all who knew her as a kind and fun-loving woman who would do anything for those she loved. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Oscar and Dollie Woodward; and paternal grandparents, Ernest and Ruth Sharpe.
Sheila leaves her memory behind with her devoted husband, Joseph "Mac" McDaniel of Warner Robins; children, Heather Davis (Andy) of Warner Robins, Ryan Lewis of South Carolina, and Andrew White of Warner Robins; granddaughter, Macy-Ann Davis of Warner Robins; parents, Ronald and Bonnie Sharpe of Macon; daughter, Kristen Darden of Warner Robins; brother, Ron Sharpe (Ginger) of South Carolina; and niece, Penny Sharpe of South Carolina.
The family will hold a private memorial service celebrating Sheila's life.
