Shelley "Pooh" Malone, entered into rest on April 17, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on July 27, 1946, in Burbank, California, to the late Lester and Mary Nye Malone, Pooh spent her early years in Atlanta, Georgia, where she graduated from North Fulton High School in 1965.

Pooh pursued higher education at Emory University, earning her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. Her love of learning and helping others led her to a career in education, teaching at Flint River Academy in Woodbury, Georgia up until the early 1980s. She continued her dedication to education by tutoring high school students in math, helping many to graduate and pursue higher education.

Later, she made her home in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she worked as a Branch Office Administrator with Edward Jones until her retirement.

Pooh had a deep love for animals, particularly her corgis, Ringo, Star, and Ziggy, who are now joyfully reunited with her in heaven. She spent many joyful years training and competing in agility and obedience events, earning numerous awards and accolades along the way. Her passion for dog training extended into her work with Pawsitively Fun Dog Training, where she found great fulfillment teaching obedience classes and helping others bond with their pets.

A true sports enthusiast, Pooh never missed a Braves game and was a devoted Florida Gators fan. She enjoyed watching golf and looked forward to watching the Masters every year.

Pooh also had a quiet, creative side—she loved cross stitch and spent countless hours crafting beautiful, thoughtful gifts for her family and friends. Her talents, kindness, and humor touched all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Pooh was preceded in death by her grandson, Zane Patrick Chambless; brother, William Frank Malone, Sr.; niece, Laura Sue Malone; and nephew, William Frank Malone, Jr.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Michael William Chambless (Monique); grandchildren, Thorne Rape, Kate Chambless, Isabella Rae Chambless, Elyce Harwood Chambless, and Dakota Bedsole Chambless; great-grandchild, Waylon Rape; sister-in-law, Kathy Malone; nephew, Ryan Gilbert Malone; niece, Juanita Elizabeth Malone; great niece, Luna Francis Malone; and numerous other great nieces and nephews.
