Sherie Doris Hooper

Sherie Doris Hooper, 51, passed away at her residence Sunday, November 30, 2008.

She was born on February 2, 1957, in Hilton, New York. With pride and honor, Mrs. Hooper served twenty-one years in the United State Navy and retired in 1996 as a Supply Corps Lieutenant. She and her family moved to Georgia in 1999 where she spent several years in civil service, retiring as a C-5 Contracting Specialist in August of 2008. Sherie is the daughter of June Rose Liddle and the late Lester Earl George Liddle, Jr.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of twenty-five years, Kevin Mark Hooper; daughters, Stephanie Ann Byrd and Kathryn Leilani Hooper; son-in-law, Stanley Keith Byrd; granddaughter, Allison Lynn Byrd; sister, Darlene Liddle, Rochester, New York; and brothers, Mark Liddle, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Robert Liddle, Houston, Texas.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 4, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Chaplain Michael Rodgers officiating. Burial will be private.
