Sherry B. Gore

Sherry Gore, 48, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016.

Sherry was born on March 9, 1968 in Warner Robins, Georgia. While attending Warner Robins High School she was an honor roll student and Captain of the Dixie Darlings Flag Corp. Sherry was also a member of the graduating Class of 1986. With great pride and honor she enlisted in the United States Navy. Following her Naval career Sherry studied cosmetology at Middle Georgia Technical College. In her spare time, she enjoyed couponing and puzzles. However her greatest joy came from her beloved family and dog "Little Bit".

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Brandy Camp of Bonaire; son, Cory Gore of Warner Robins; 4 grandchildren; mother, Faye Mars (Stephen) of Bonaire; father, Leland Gore (Diane) of Atlanta; brothers, Billy Gore (Sandy) of Alabama and Stephen Mars (Trish) of Bonaire; sister Andrea Tinsley (Chris) of Benton, Arkansas; companion, Alan Hornaday of Warner Robins; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members, Jeanne Murray and Lola Hall; as well as multiple other extended family members.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Sherry's life will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Sherry Gore to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna, Ga 30080.
