Sherwood "Richard" Klingler

Sherwood “Richard” Klingler, 80, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

Richard was born on January 15, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan. He enjoyed woodworking, drag racing, and time spent with family.

Along with his parents, Richard and Phyllis Klingler; Richard’s daughter, Sherri Scheffer; and brother, Jon Klingler preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of 30 years, Faye B. Klingler; children, Sandra Evans (Jonne) of Macon, Steve Klingler, Shane Klingler, Shea Klingler (Nikki), Adam Klingler (Alexis), Victoria Gandy (Wesley), and Aaron Klingler, all of Byron; as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Donna Klingler of Blairsville.

A memorial gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with a graveside memorial service following at 2:00 p.m. Afterward, Richard will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
