Shirley Fredricka Wainwright

Shirley Fredricka Wainwright, born on September 25, 1938 in Bermuda, passed away at home on Monday, February 15, 2021. A retiree of the ABC Network, she was a voracious reader who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Shirley was a strong woman of Catholic faith and dearly loved her family, friends and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Wellman Wainwright.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Debra Byrd, Donnette Folk, Neaco Folk, Steven Folk, Angela Whitehead, Simone Barton and David Folk; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

There will be Rosary at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. Shirley will be laid to rest in the seas of Bermuda at a later time.
