Shirley Jamison Brown

Warner Robins – Shirley Jamison Brown, 70, entered into rest on Monday, December 14, 2009.

Mrs. Brown was born on May 30, 1939, in Swifton, Arkansas. A retired realtor from Cribb Realty, she was of the Methodist Faith. Her parents have preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Velpo Brown; children, Barry (Susan) Brown, Lilburn, Georgia, Bart Brown, Plainfield, New Jersey, Bruce (Bridget) Brown, Augusta, Georgia; grandchildren, Chris Brown, Rome, Georgia, Aimee Brown, Carrollton, Georgia, Kevin Brown, Lilburn, Georgia, Miranda Brown, Augusta, Georgia, Colby Brown, Augusta, Georgia; and sister, Mignon Brooks, Pocahontas, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Chaplin Thomas Qualls officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville on Thursday, December 17, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Serenity Hospice Care, 1057 North Houston Road, Warner Robins GA 31093, or American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon GA 31201.
