Shirley Knowles, 69, left her tired and sick body behind as she went to live with her Lord on Sunday, June 8, 2014. She is now with many loved ones who passed before her.
Born on August 31, 1944, she was a life-long resident of Warner Robins and of the Baptist faith.
Shirley will be deeply missed by all who loved her today, as they've loved her all her life.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Carpenter Owens.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Knowles; sister, Gail Saucier; brother, Billy Quick; aunt, Nell Martin; aunt, Betty and uncle, Ivy Coffman; niece, Ronda Walker; nephew, Michael Walker; and many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.at McCullough Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 1:30 p.m. in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Shirley will be laid to rest among many beloved family members.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be given to Heart of Georgia DDM, 238 Hatcher Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
