Shirley Mae Sybert

Shirley Sybert, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 16, 2007.

Mrs. Sybert was born on July 29, 1935 in Butler, PA. She retired from Robins Air Force Base where she worked in civil service. She attended Victory Baptist Church. Shirley was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She truly enjoyed time spent with her family and especially enjoyed spending time on the soccer field and playing cards. Her husband, Ralph B. Sybert and her parents, Robert Harrison and Loretta Josephine Gardner, all preceded her in death.

She will be missed by her children, Cindy Norman, Ralph Sybert, both of Warner Robins; Judy Burtnett, Landisburg, PA; Robert Sybert, Warner Robins; Patti Chafin, Bonaire; Shirley A. Sybert, Byron; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three sisters in Pennsylvania.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at 386 Valley Road Byron, GA 31008. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, One Corporate Square Atlanta, Georgia 30329.
