Shirley Roberts

Shirley Roberts, 75, entered into rest on Friday, January 6, 2023.

Shirley was born on September 12, 1947, in Warner Robins, Georgia. Shirley was a wonderful homemaker who loved being at home and keeping things casual, which included enjoying and looking forward to her morning cup of coffee. A very loving soul, she found happiness in her husband, Roy, and their children. Despite the extrovert her husband was, she balanced him out by being the quiet one between them. In addition to taking care of her family, nature was something she enjoyed and loved both the mountains and the beach.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Angie Martin (Ronnie) of King, North Carolina, Lee Roberts (Stephanie) of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Stephanie Harmon (Doug) of Warner Robins, Georgia; her grandchildren, Amber Heard (Michael), Kayla Roberts, Austin McElrath (Chelsea), Justin Martin, and Kyle Roberts; her siblings, Richard Meier (Claudia), Dianne Thomas, and Scott Meier (Ronda); as well as her sister-in-law, Rhonda Meier, her seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Sadly, just a short day before her passing, Shirley’s husband, Roy, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Lee Jones and Doris Easler, as well as her brother, Randy Meier.

Visitation with Shirley and Roy’s family will be Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service celebrating their lives will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Shirley and Roy will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
