Sky Owen Olson

Sky Owen Olson, 52, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2005. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial at Magnolia Park Cemetery will be private. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to your favorite animal protection agency.

Mr. Olson was born on January 15, 1953 in Dekalb, Illinois. Growing up, he enjoyed the frequent moves of his Air Force family and attended schools in California, Illinois, and New York, as well as Georgia. A 1972 graduate of Northside High School in Warner Robins, he served as president of his senior class and was elected “Mr. Northside”. He received a degree from Rochester (New York) Institute of Technology and returned to Warner Robins where he joined his parents at Olson’s Studio of Photography. He was editor and photographer of the picture newspaper “Click” which the family published.

Survivors include his parents, Virgil B. and Martha Lucille Olson, Roberta; three sisters, Janaan D. Kitchen, Anchorage, AK; Keetjie J. Ramo, Davenport, IA:, and Jaloo I. Zelonis and her husband Tony; Kathleen; and several nieces and nephews. The family German Shepherd, Trinka, misses her good friend.
