Smsgt Bobby Frank Wright

Bobby F. Wright, 71, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016.

Bobby was born on July 11, 1944 in East Dublin, Georgia to the late John and Nannie Strange Wright. He was a graduate of East Laurens High School's Class of 1962. With great pride and honor Bobby served in the United States Air Force for 23 years, including a tour in Vietnam, retiring with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Following his active duty career, he worked as a contractor at Robins Air Force Base. Bobby was a fan of NASCAR and the Georgia Bulldogs. However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his beloved family.

Along with his parents, his son, Stephen Scott Wright, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Tanya Wright of Warner Robins; son, John Thomas Wright, III (Holly) of Valdosta; grandchildren, Savanna Wright Aldridge (Jay), Austin Wright, Noah Wright, Hogan Wright; great-granddaughter, Adriana Aldridge; siblings, Jack Wright, Jr. (Pat) and Jane Beasley (Spencer), Marylyn Drew (Vinson), all of Dublin; Glenda Porter of Atlanta; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, March 4, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2016 in the Chapel of McCullough. Following the service, Bobby will be laid to rest in Centerville Cemetery, with full military honors.
