Jack Lamar Miller, 75, entered into rest on Monday, July 23, 2012.
Jack was born on July 24, 1936 in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. SMSgt Miller served his country with pride and honor in the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam era and retiring after twenty one years of dedicated service. A resident of Warner Robins since 1977, he also retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was an Aircraft Mechanic Supervisor. Jack was an avid golfer and a member of Pine Oaks Golf Course at Robins Air Force Base. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing. Spending time with his family and friends were his favorite pastimes. His parents, James T. Miller and Ioian Gardner Miller, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Melba Mary Guerrero Miller, Warner Robins; three sons and their spouses, Gerald Wayne Miller (Maria), Bonaire; Jeffery L. Miller (Donna J.), Perry; Kevvin T. Miller (Veronica), Kennesaw; sisters, Sara Barnhart and Ruth Jackson, both of Flowery Branch; four grandchildren, Scott T. Miller, Ryan D. Miller, Kyle D. Miller, Lacey Claire Miller, and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 26 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be Friday, July 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Piney Mount United Methodist Church Cemetery, Wrightsville, Georgia.
