Smsgt. Mark A. Foley, Usaf (Ret.)

SMSgt Mark A. Foley, USAF (Ret.), 59, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 due to hypertensive cardiovascular disease.

Mark was born on September 1, 1956 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Harold and LeeMoyne Allen Foley. With great honor and pride he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served 26 years before retiring with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Mark then worked at S&K Technologies Incorporated as a civilian contractor for 12 years. In his spare time he was a volunteer firefighter and a member of the American Legion. Mark had a passion for photography; he loved to offer his time and God-given talent as a photographer and videographer to many local organizations and charities. He always brought smiles and laughter to everyone he met.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 35 years Deborah Ann Foley of Bonaire; children, Erica Taylor (Charles) of Byron, John Foley of Byron, Luke A. Foley of Bonaire; as well as grandchildren, Evans Taylor, Ruth Lavina Zambotti; siblings, Michael Foley (Monica) of Sandy Lake, Michigan, Kathy Ockert (Jerry) of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Lisa Foley of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mary Cairmes of Grand Rapids, Michigan; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and much extended family.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough. Following the service, Mr. Foley will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In recognition of SMSgt Foley's service to his country, interment will include the rendering of full military honors.
