Norman Lewis Deputy, 73, entered into rest on Friday, June 7, 2013.
Norman was born on December 18, 1939 in Camden, New Jersey to the late Norman Wesley and Katherine Walker Deputy. With pride and honor, he served in the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. A computer genius, he also retired from Computer Science as a Logistics Engineer. Norman was a devoted member of Southside Baptist Church, a lifetime member of the GAMMA Flight Club, and a private pilot.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Frances Deputy of Warner Robins; children, Lisa Anders (Clif) of Lansing, Michigan, J.R. Deputy (Jodi) of Harrison, Tennessee, and Jimmy Deputy (Kristi) of Clearwater, Florida; twelve grandchildren; a great-grandson due to be born in October; and brothers, Milton Deputy (Joyce) of Camden, New Jersey and Tom Deputy (Martie) of Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
A small memorial will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery at noon on Monday, June 10, 2013.
