Smsgt. William J. "Bill" Edmonds, Usaf (Ret.)

October 7, 1929 — November 6, 2019

Bill Edmonds, a 45-year resident of Warner Robins, walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. He was 90 years old.

Bill was born in Thomasville, Georgia, to the late Luther P. and Annie Carter Edmonds on October 7, 1929. He was of the Methodist faith. A proud United States Air Force Veteran, Bill retired from the military having attained the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He also retired from the United States Postal Service. In his 90 years, Bill enjoyed traveling the world with his military career, time spent fishing, and was an excellent gardener; he was happy to share his produce with everyone. He was also especially fond of his late Basset Hound, “Susie.”

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 70 years, Elizabeth Ann Edmonds of Warner Robins; and children, Cindy Edmonds of Senoia and James Edmonds of Warner Robins.

A memorial service celebrating Bill’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
