Gregory Justin Pike, 24, entered into rest on Friday, June 8, 2012.
Gregory was born on October 5, 1987 in Macon, Georgia. With pride and honor, he currently served his country in the United States Army. Gregory deployed in support of Operation New Dawn from January 2011 to November 2011. His awards and decorations include: the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal with campaign star, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Driver and Mechanic Badge. Gregory will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Gregory was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Robert Pike, Barbara Pike Bass, and Elizabeth Betsy Steed.
His memory will forever be treasured by his parents, Kenneth Gregory Pike and stepmother, Susan K. Pike; sister, Ashley P. Heyen; and brothers, James Robert Pike and Joseph A. Bragg; grandfather, Jack H. Steed, many nieces and nephews, and a host of loving other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
