Ssgt. Anthony William "Tony" Collett, Usaf

Anthony William “Tony” Collett passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the age of 73. Born in Buffalo, NY on January 31, 1949, he was the son of the late SSgt. Anthony N. and Gloria Sadd Collett.

Tony was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force where he served from 1968 until 1975. Following his military career, he was a successful auto mechanic having worked with countless auto dealers over the years. In his free time, Tony enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of NASCAR and football. He was also an avid bowler and competed in tournaments throughout the country. Tony was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge, as well.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his siblings, Sandra Keller (Mark) and John Collett.

He is survived by his daughter, René Collett (Jay Murphy); granddaughter, Katrina Serach (Kyle Waples); great-granddaughter, Nova Waples; sisters, Candance Enser (Bud), Michelle Hansgen (Roy), and Lynette Kolb (Tom); and longtime friend, James Piper.
