Ssgt. J.D. Boler, Usaf (Ret)

J. D. Boler, 73, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2006. A funeral service to be held in celebration of his love for life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Visitation will be Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Oakland Baptist Church 1509 Russell Parkway Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mr. Boler was born on October, 4, 1932 in Linwood, MS. He was a member of Linwood Baptist Church in Mississippi. SSgt. Boler retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service to his country. He served during the Vietnam Era and the Korean Conflict. He also retired from the City of Centerville where he was employed for 15 years as the Utility Department Superintendent. Mr. Boler loved to spend his time fishing and with his loving family. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His parents, Clinton and Lendy Boler; and his sister, Barbara Eckel, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Boler, Perry; daughters, Marci Boler (Ricky), Byron; Donna Boler (Shane), Warner Robins; sons, Jerry Boler (Trish); Warner Robins; Rick Boler (Barb), Ray City; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two brothers and sisters.
