Ssgt Lyle L. Leonard, Jr., Usaf (Ret)

Lyle L. Leonard, Jr., 75, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 12, 2013.

Lyle was born on October 30, 1937 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era and retired with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Lyle then retired from Macon Machine Shop after twenty years. His church home was First Baptist of Warner Robins. His wife, Pearl Angel Leonard; parents, Lyle L. Leonard, Sr. and Louise Routsaw Leonard; one granddaughter; two sisters; and one brother, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Lisa Leonard; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Hayden; best friend, Bennie Wynn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2013 in Magnolia Park Cemetery with interment immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made to American Diabetes Association, GA Affiliate, One Corporate Square, Atlanta, GA 30329.
