Stanley Joseph Prenkevich

Stanley Joseph Prenkevich, affectionately known as “Pap”, 93, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2007.

Mr. Prenkevich was born on May 16, 1914 in Mount Carmel, PA. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A veteran of the United States Navy, he served during WWII as a radioman. Stan retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was an Aircraft Logistics Specialist. He enjoyed spending time with family, baseball, and bowling. He was proud to be a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Terrell Swafford.

Survivors include his beloved wife of thirty four years, Doris Prenkevich, son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Cindy Swafford, all of Warner Robins; grandsons, Steven, Matthew, and Blake Swafford, great grandson, Dylan Swafford, and several nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be held Friday evening at 6:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m.; Funeral Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2007 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund 250 S. Davis Drive Warner Robins, GA 31088.
