Stanton Eugene Brown

Stanton E. Brown, 93, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at Serenity Gate Hospice. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 22, in Bonaire First Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Rogers officiating. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, KY. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Houston County, 103 Westridge DR Warner Robins, GA 31088.

Mr. Brown was born on February, 27, 1912 in Louisville, Kentucky. He attended Bonaire First Baptist Church and was very active at First Alliance Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Brown was a master wood worker and was retired from The Courier Journal where he worked as a Linotype machinist. His parents, Virgil N. Brown and Dorothy Margaret Sophie Brown, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Allene Brown, Bonaire; daughters and son-in-laws, Linda and Wayne Carlson, Rancho Mirage, CA; Martha and Dr. Mark Lafferty, Bonaire; grandchildren, Jennifer Bailey Ridley, Great Falls, VA; Elizabeth Lafferty, Bonaire; Jared Lafferty, Bonaire; great grandchildren, Ian Ridley, Tristan Ridley, and Cameron Ridley all of Great Falls, Virginia.
