Stella Abraitis Sidlauskas, 93, entered into rest on Friday, September 24, 2010.
Mrs. Sidlauskas was born on June 24, 1917, in Lithuania, and was of the Catholic Faith. She retired from International Shoe Company as an Inspector in Quality Control. A highly skilled seamstress, her favorite hobby and passion was knitting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Sidlauskas, parents, Vincas Abraitis and Oonas Abraitis; brothers, Vincas and Jonas; and sisters, Marcella, Beruté and Julia.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving sons, Audrys "Sid" Sidlauskas (Karen), Warner Robins, and John Sidlauskas (Diane), Florissant, Missouri; grandchildren, Steven Sidlauskas (Trina), Warner Robins, Suzanne Chatting (Richard), Macon, Christine Hayden (Chad), Taylorsville, Kentucky, and Lisa Sidlauskas-Colacurcio (Patrick), Seattle, Washington; and great-grandchildren, Avellina Colacurcio and August Colacurcio, Seattle, Washington.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010, at the Robins Air Force Base Chapel, Father Thomas J. Fey officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois.
