Stephen Cochran, 61, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Stephen was born on August 29, 1955 at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. He and his family moved to Warner Robins in 1966 where he attended school and worked for various construction companies. Stephen loved music, drawing, and television.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Wesley Cochran in October 2012.
He is survived by his mother, Geraldine W. Cochran of Warner Robins; sister, Charlotte Bare (Bob) of Crawford County; brothers, Douglas Cochran (Becky) and Phillip Cochran (April and her son, Aaron), both of Warner Robins; nephew, Shane Cochran of Warner Robins; niece, Kourtney Cochran of Selma, Oregon.
A memorial gathering will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27th at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in Cairo, Georgia at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Houston Medical Center Auxiliary, Attn: Volunteer Dept., 1601 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31088.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the never-ending care given to Mr. Cochran by Tameka and Katrice at Pruitt Health Hospice. They would also like to extend a special "thank you" to the Houston Medical Center Auxiliary and the Centerville Senior Club for their endless love and support.
