A loving son, brother, and friend, Stephen Daniel Jolley, 28, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of Friday, July 30, 2021, in Savannah, Georgia.
Born on June 20, 1993, in Atlanta, Georgia, Stephen moved with his family to Warner Robins, Georgia, at the age of four. Stephen attended Perdue Elementary; Feagin Mill Middle School, where he ran track; and finally, Houston County High School, where he played in football. Growing up, Stephen was part of the Central Baptist Church youth group and was a member of the “Mag Squad” in the Magnolia Subdivision where he lived. After high school, Stephen moved to Wisconsin to attend Crane Operating School and worked all over the country as a Crane Operator. His most recent career was with Trillium Staffing. In his spare time, Stephen loved fishing and watching sports, he especially enjoyed cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs. He also loved spending time with children and they loved him too. He was known for having a good heart and showing kindness to others. Stephen was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Left to cherish Stephen’s memory are his parents, Lisa Craig New (James) of Perry and Floyd Allen Jolley (Mike Walker) of Macon, Georgia; brother, Mark Jacob Mosely of Perry; grandmother, Mary Etta Craig of Cochran; aunts, Mary Ann Montano, Linda Fuhrken, and Vicki Toombs; uncles, Tony Arnold, Loyd Jolley, and David Jolley; cousins, Nicole Montano, Dusty and Andy Arnold; as well as many beloved extended family members and friends.
A visitation with Stephen’s family will be Friday, August 6, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating his life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Stephen Daniel Jolley to the Abba House Middle Georgia, 2089 US Highway 41 S., Perry, Georgia 31069.
