Stephen Green, 69, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, August 8, 2017.
Stephen was born in Montezuma, Georgia and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. A United States Marine Corps Veteran, he worked in a mill in Ohio for many years before becoming disabled. Stephen moved to Warner Robins to live with his mother in 2008 and they spent the last several years enjoying their time together.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Donald Green.
Stephen’s memory will forever be treasured by his loving mother, Onita Page of Warner Robins; his children, Jack Green (Barbara) of Leland, North Carolina and Kathy Green of Brady Lake, Ohio; his grandchildren, Stephen Carl Green, Trisha Michelle Cheshire, Jackson Donald Green, and Jonathan Richard Green; his great-grandchildren, Ethan Cheshire, Michael Rodriguez, Elijah Byrd, Nathaniel Green, and Callie Green; and his brother, Victor Clarence Green of Macon.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10th in Magnolia Park Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with military honors. The Reverend Dennis Clark will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Stephen D. Green to the Disabled American Veterans, P. O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-030.
