On February 12th 2025, Mr. Stephon Decody Roberts exited earth’s labor and peacefully answered God’s call into the gift of eternal life, while surrounded by love and family.
Stephon was born on May 23, 1963 to his late parents, Mr. Peter Paul Roberts and Mrs. Barbara Joe Roberts-Louketis in Albany, Ga. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior earlier in life and later became a devoted member of Beulahland Bible Church, Byron Ga., where he served faithfully through attendance and on the hospitality/traffic ministry until his health declined. He attended the Doughtery County School System, where he grew his love for sports. He was an avid football and wrestling athlete, who competed for various state titles in his division. He was a class of 1981 graduate of Westover High School, Albany Ga.
Stephon loved all people and enjoyed the company of family and friends. He also loved and enjoyed the art of cooking grilling creating and serving good food. His passion for cooking led him to retire from the Ga. Dept. of Corrections as Foodservice Manager after 20 years of service. He has managed traveled and trained employees for various restaurants throughout his career. He also competed in cooking competitions and ended his career as co-owner of Hunni BJ’s Food Bar & Grill, Warner Robins, Ga.
Stephon will be remembered as a devout boastful “Diehard Pittsburgh Steelers Fan”, his jovial spirit, magnificent smile, heart of gold, helping hands and encouraging words that could brighten anyone’s mood. His presence will be missed by all who knew and encountered him.

Stephon leaves to cherish the joy of his memories and is survived by his devoted wife, Harriet Michele Roberts, 8 Children; Tykesha (Christopher) Akambe, Lakendra (James) Mincey, Vanessa Gray, Diara Davis, Dabrielle Davis, Darryl Davis, Ste’phan Roberts, Dakota Anderson. 12 Grandchildren; Jamauri, Kaiden, Jalen, Kennedy, Sharelle, Quinton, Kingston, Aniston, Devon, Ashley, Boston, Levi. StepFather; Nick Louketis, 2 Brothers; Charlie (Rose) Roberts, John Reid, 2 Sisters; Patsy Patterson, Tabbis Wright. God Sister; Terri Jones, God Brother; Elvis (Linda) Muldrow. 2 Brothers-In-Love; Calvin (Patricia) Lane Jr., Thomas (Leona) Pierce, 3 Sisters-In-Love; Hattie (Daniel) White, Lena (Eddie) Pierce-Jones, Kathy (Lewis) Releford. A host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, bonus family and friends.
A funeral service celebrating Stephon's life will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m in Beulahland Bible Church on Gunn Road. Afterward, Stephon will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens. He will lie in state at the church prior to the service.
