Steve "S.A." Atkins, 38, entered into rest on Sunday, November 30, 2008.
Mr. Atkins was born on March 12, 1970, in East Point, Georgia, and lived most of his life in Atlanta. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Navy. A wonderful and talented tattoo artist, he moved to Warner Robins four years ago, and was owner of Sacred Heart Tattoo. He was also a magnificent bass guitarist and a member of the group "Gravel Road". His father, Ben Atkins, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of three years, Debi Atkins; mother, Retta Irby Green; step-father, Clyde Green; brother, John and sister-in-law, Devin Atkins; sister, Celeste Atkins; step-brothers, Robert Clark Hall and Steven Green; step-sister, Michelle Lamberth; step-children, Chris and Josh Cook; his mentor, Tony Olivas; Aunt Maggie Land; Aunt Stan Durrance and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2008, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
