Steven Craig Stanton

Steven Craig Stanton, 50, formerly of Warner Robins, entered into rest on Monday, November 5, 2012.

Steven was born on October 2, 1962 in Wiesbaden, Germany. He was of the Protestant faith. Steven was a graduate of Warner Robins High School. With pride and loyalty, Steven served his country in the United States Air Force, from which he retired with the rank of Staff Sergeant; after twenty years of dedicated service.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Michelle Laverne Stanton; parents, Roger Dean Stanton and Dorcas "Kathy" Stanton, all of Warner Robins; daughter, Angel Tharpe (Jason), grandson, Justin Tharpe, all of Panama City; brothers, Roger Stanton Jr. (Laura), Suwanee; Tim Stanton (Louise), Kennesaw; mother and father in law, Pete and Ellen McHarg, Warner Robins; and several nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Committal will be held in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Ste. A., Macon, Georgia 31201.
