Fifty-two year old Steve Heath, II, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016. He was born on July 23, 1963 in Watkins Glen, New York. Steve loved his country and was very patriotic, after high school he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served for 13 years. Following his active duty service, he began his civil service career at Robins Air Force Base. In his spare time, Steve enjoyed spending countless hours tinkering in his garage with his projects while "having a cold one" and grilling. He had a passion for restoring, building, and painting cars. Steve could fix anything that was handed to him. He loved to share his knowledge and talents. Ford trucks and cars, and motorcycles; especially Harley Davidson motorcycles were another passion of his. Steve loved traveling and taking long distance trips on his Harley every chance he got. However, his greatest joy was found in family and most particularly in being an adoring "Pop" to his three beloved grandchildren. Steve always put a smile on everyone's face.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving children, Melisa Heath (Ross Dukatz) of Buckhead; Nick Heath of Marietta; Brandy Young (John) of Illinois; grandchildren, Daison Stallworth, Kamber Heath, Charlee Dukatz; father, Stephen LeRoy, Sr. (Mary Bateman); mother, Yvonne Harrington; stepmother, Debra Devlin; and siblings, Tad Heath (Shelby), Molly Rubilar (Alan), Monica Devlin, Shannon Heath (Darlene).
