Steven Munroe, 66, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
Steve was born on January 18, 1957, on Terceira Island, Azores to the late Charles and Ruth Munroe. Steve was an avid collector of both rare coins and rare baseball cards. He was a huge sports fan, especially when it came to college football; he was a huge fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He also loved Major League Baseball, where his favorite team was the Boston Red Sox. Steve loved watching old movies and crime tv shows. Vintage shows like Gunsmoke, The Wild, Wild West, and Bonanza to name a few. After receiving many dialysis treatments over the last several years, he also became fond of and attached to the staff at Warner Robins Dialysis Center.
In addition to his parents, Steve was also preceded in death by his siblings, Cynthia Munroe, Michael Munroe, and Christelle Myrick.
His memory will forever be treasured by his siblings, Phillip D. Munroe (Amy) of Cumming, GA and Cass Munroe Lievsay (Kevin) of Johns Creek, GA; nieces and nephews, Emily Lievsay of Chicago, IL, Mary Kathryn Lievsay of Orlando, FL, James Myrick (Bibiana) of Suwanee, GA, and Stephanie Daniel (Taft) of Macon, GA; and great-niece and great-nephew, Chandler Daniel and Taft Daniel, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Parkway Memorial Gardens, where he will be inurned.
