Steven Craig Poole

January 3, 1962 — October 14, 2023

Steven Craig Poole, aged 61, passed away at the Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. The son of the late Boling "Doc" and Jamie Poole, Craig was a Middle Georgia native, born in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Craig devoted many years of his life to the field of machining, where his precision and expertise were greatly respected. His talents didn't stop there; he also lent his expertise as an aircraft machinist at renowned companies like Gulfstream and Boeing.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Craig had a passion for the adrenaline rush of drag racing. Fishing was another love of his and provided solace in nature. Craig also found joy in the simpler pleasures of life, such as watching movies, listening to hard rock music, and owning two beloved wiener dogs.

In addition to his parents, Craig was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Maslin; and uncle, Mike Poole.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Lydia Miles (David); half-brother, Jim Johnson; nieces, Kerri and Mandi Maslin; aunt, Jackie Poole; and cousins, Michelle Hall (Tom) and Scott Poole (Lynda).
