Stuart Michael "Mike" Braunstein

Mike Braunstein, 76, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 18, 2019.

Mike was born in Newark, New Jersey on May 30, 1943. He proudly served as a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Air Force and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Mike was an avid collector of model railroad trains and enjoyed auto racing; he was extremely proud of his Porsche. He also was a big supporter of the local animal shelter as he had a soft spot for all animals, especially his Dachshunds.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Mary Wolff Braunstein.

Mike is survived by his sons, David Braunstein (Beth) and Ben Braunstein (Mandy); grandchildren, Elizabeth, William, Wesley (Carolina), Dillon, Peyton, and Palmer; great-grandchildren, Shane, David, and Adam; sister, Roz Ferrell; and special friend, Eva Wilensky.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Mike Braunstein to the ASPCA, Attn: Gift Processing Center, 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
