Susan Mills

Susan Mills, 65, entered into rest on Sunday, October 5, 2014. Susan was born on April 13, 1949 in Decatur, Georgia, and lived in Perry since 1985. She was a woman of strong faith, and known as a prayer warrior. Susan was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends above all else.

Her parents, Kenneth and Marianne McClung, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 45 years, David P. Mills, Jr.; sons, David L. Mills (Stacey) of Jefferson, Andy Mills of Marshallville, and Alex Mills of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Staci Lawhorne, Priscilla Burnette, David L. Mills, Jr., Cody Mills, and Taylor Logan Mills; great grandchild, Addison Burnette; brother, Mickey McClung (Chris) of Asheville, North Carolina; sisters, Marianne Adams of Stockbridge and Jacqueline Blake (Brad) of Beaufort, South Carolina; and father-in-law, David P. Mills, Sr. of Perry.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Woodlawn Cemetery in Perry.
