Susan S. Brand

Mrs. Susan S. Brand, 92, died Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at the Houston Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 23 in Pinecrest Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Central Georgia Chapter, 277 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Suite 201, Macon, GA 31201.

Mrs. Brand was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She had been a nurse and had worked in several different nursing homes. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Brand; parents, W. R. Spencer and Lilly C. Spencer; and grandchildren, Barbara Hanners and Mike Hanners.

Survivors include her daughter, Bettye G. Hanners (Bill), Warner Robins; daughter, Barbara Roberts, Maitland, FL; grandchildren, Dan Hanners (Dianne), Perry; Billy Hanners (Sherry), Apopka, FL; Linda Eury, Warner Robins; Tim Hanners (Duana), Plano, TX; Tony Hanners (Wanda), O’Fallon, MO; Cindy Roberts, Jonny Roberts and Karen Roberts, all of Maitland, FL; 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
