Sylvia H. Norvelle

Sylvia H. Norvelle, 80, died Monday, August 4, 2003. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7 at 2:00 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to All Saints Episcopal Church Food Bank, P.O. Box 7423, Warner Robins, GA 31095.

Mrs. Norvelle was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She was a resident of Warner Robins since 2001 after moving here from Lake City, FL, where she had lived for 26 years. She was retired from Human Resources in the United States Forest Service. She also was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during WWII. A member of All Saints Episcopal Church, Mrs. Norvelle volunteered at the church food bank two days each week. Her husband, Calvin C. Norvelle, and parents, Albert E. and Edith Beckwith Hendershot, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Ron Norvelle of Jacksonville, FL, and Jim Norvelle of Warner Robins; grandchildren, James Norvelle, Jr., and Kimberly Allen, both of Byron; and four great grandchildren.
