Sylvia Ham Harvey, 79, entered into rest on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
Sylvia was born on February 11, 1945, in Ramer, Alabama to the late Emory and Margaret Ham. She earned her bachelor's degree with Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee and went on to become a secretary for the honorable Judge Anderson in Macon-Bibb County. A woman of faith, Sylvia was a longtime member of Thomaston Road Church of Christ. Family time was something she cherished, particularly with her grandchildren. She adored any time she had to make memories with those she loved. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, especially to Branson, Missouri, and was a very active participant with Friends of the Library. Her sweet spirit will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, William Harvey.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Dwayne Jolley of Warner Robins, grandchildren, Emory Jolley and Bailey Jolley, and brother, Ennis Ham of St. Simons.
