Syrie Stephanie Price

Syrie Stephanie Price passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the age of 43. She was born in Riverside, CA on December 8, 1977 to Dairlyn Marie Brown and Steven Boyd Gonzalez.

A one-of-a-kind woman with an outgoing, adventurous and free spirit, Syrie was the type of person who would go wherever the wind blew her. It was not unusual for her to just hop in the car and go at the drop of a hat. Syrie was also kind-hearted, forgiving, loving, trusting and generous to a fault. She would do anything in her power to help someone in need. Her children and family were her top priority in life as she loved them with everything she had, and cakes and pies came in close second. Syrie had a definite sweet tooth and always danced while she ate Krunch Strawberry Shortcake. On top of spending time with her friends and family and enjoying sweets, she enjoyed gardening, construction, repairs, and being a handywoman. Syrie was an animal lover. Her Mom called her an Animal Whisperer. Syrie also loved music, especially Fleetwood Mac. Syrie was an Angel on earth. We love and miss you, Syrie.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kay F. Williams and Richard D. Brown, Sr.

Syrie is survived by her loving children, Tyler J. Castellanos (daughter n’ law, Chelsie Castellanos), Mali Price and Madison Price; her mother and stepfather, Dairlyn and Richard Brown, Jr. of Bonaire, GA; father and stepmother, Steven and Beth Gonzalez of Naples, FL; siblings, Ryan Brown and Richard D. Brown III, both of Bonaire, GA, Kelly Gonzalez of Riverside, CA and Steven Gonzalez Jr. of Naples, FL; grandparents, Blanche Brown and Homer D. Morgan; and many other extended family members and friends.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating Syrie’s life will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2021, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
