Teddy O'Brien Blankenship, Sr.

Warner Robins – Teddy Blankenship, 67, entered into rest on Friday, September 17, 2010.

Mr. Blankenship was born on February 5, 1943 in Macon. He was employed in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base in the 19th Air Refueling Wing. A lifelong Middle Georgia resident, he graduated from Warner Robins High School where he played football. Fishing and hunting were his favored hobbies. Teddy was of the Baptist Faith. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Helen Yawn.

He will live in the hearts of his wife of fifty years, Gloria A. Blankenship, Warner Robins,; sons, Ted Blankenship, Jr. (Martha Faye), Charleston, South Carolina, and Gene Blankenship, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Chandra Churchwell (Mark), Teddy Blankenship, III, (Ashley) Adam Blankenship, and Austin Blankenship; great-grandchildren, Blake Churchwell, and Emma Blankenship; father, Jimmy Blankenship; and daughters-in-law, Barbara Singletary and Vickie Blankenship.
