Terry Wayne Taylor

Terry Wayne Taylor, 61, entered into rest on Thursday, October 1, 2009.

Mr. Taylor was born on May 26, 1948, in Macon. He was owner and operator of Twenty Four Hour Security for twenty-five years. An avid NASCAR fan, his favorite pastime was restoring and showing classic cars. He was a fan and collector of Elvis. Hardison Baptist Church was his home church. His father, Henry Taylor, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of six years, Sherrie Lynn Preskitt Taylor; mother, Muzette Holloway, Watkinsville; children, Teri Lynn Taylor Hillis (Craig), Savannah, and Kristi Lynn Taylor Glass, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; step-children, Joseph Grantham Carter, Victoria Alexander Carter and Justin "Little Man" Carmon Carter, all Warner Robins; brothers, Bobby Taylor, Macon, Mike Holloway, Watkinsville, and Lynn Taylor, Perry; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Rick Odom officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
