Thad K. Mcgrotha, Sr.

Thad K. McGrotha, Sr., 72, died Monday, July 29, 2002. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 01, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Born in Moultrie, GA, to the late Charles and Fannie McGrotha, Mr. McGrotha was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base, retired from Blue Bird Body Company and also worked as a salesman at Cochran Motors. He was Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth McGrotha, Warner Robins; daughter, Frances Giles, Centerville; son, Kenneth McGrotha, Macon; sister, Mary Ellen Jackson, Fort Valley; two grandsons, Reginald Giles, Montgomery, AL; and Brannon McGrotha, Macon; three granddaughters, Lori Phillips, Centerville; Kelli McGrotha and Tania McGrotha, both of Macon; and five great-grandchildren.
