Thelma Gladney

Thelma Gladney, 87, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2004. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 7 at First United Methodist Church of Warner Robins with entombment following at Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Flowers will be received or memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Gladney was born on May 20, 1916. She was retired from Watson’s Nursery where she worked as a landscaper and floral designer. She will be remembered for the joy she shared during the Christmas Seasons between 1954 and 1997 by decorating her home in various colors. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Her husband, Jesse C. Gladney; father, B. C. Banks and, mother, Clyde Banks, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Calvin B. Gladney of Marrietta; Phil and wife Cindy Gladney, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Kevin Gladney, Marrietta; Stephen Gladney and Heather Gladney both of Warner Robins; sister, Mrs. Frank Lipham, LaGrange; niece, Carolyn Price, LaGrange; and nephew, Louis Gladney; Sylvester.
